Welcome to Alice Buntings A2 Media Studies G324: Advanced Portfolio in Media

My Blog contains all of my research and planning which eventually helped me to complete my coursework. It also includes my opinions about the coursework progress; what I would change, what would stay the same and what parts of the coursework were effective. Overall I utilised the blog as a way to document my coursework, and found this was an effective way to keep on track throughout the coursework process.

First copy of our music Video

After spending the previous two weeks filming and editing, we have finally created a piece which we have both worked really hard on. Now we will concentrate on our CD covers and advert for the deadline which is next Wednesday.

Our url for the music video is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29cBvHgQol4

This allows our music video to reach a wider audience, which should result in the video becoming more popular.
This music video is the first edit of our final music video and through watching it and comparing it with the final video, you can see which parts are improved.

Here is a photograph of me and the film crew together:

  1. Awesome video!!! I love it!! Katie's dancing fits the genre and the lip syncing is perfect. :) The only thing I'm not keen on is the way the image blurs when she leaves the house to go out. xx

  2. I really like your video. I like how some of the edits go with the beat and think that you've used good camera shots and edits. I like how you ended it with the 'to be continued'. The only improvement is that I think that you could have more of the boy with the other girl.

  3. I really liked the camera shots of Katie doing her makeup in the mirror, it reflected the genre of dance perfectly.
Also the actions in the video go well with the beat of the song, however i think it would have been cool to see more of Lily and the boy
