Mock ups

In the past week, me and my other group member Lilly have been testing out different ideas for a CD cover and thinking about the costume of the character on the front cover, the background colours and the back cover. We also have to include an inlay so we decided to use a flyer promoting a club night or cd of the same brand as the inlay, as this would fit in with the demographic audience. We decided to use a different person in the video as on the front cover to follow the codes and conventions of the dance/hardcore genre, where models on CD covers are frequently featured. This makes the artist, 'Sublime' more of a brand which we can sell to our demographic audience. To complete the mock ups we need to produce a picture of a model, similar to shots of CD covers I analysed during research. We then need to choose a font and colourscheme , which we will do over the weekend.
